White Worms

Our white worms are cultured in wood (birch) boxes at a constant temperature of 58 degrees Fahrenheit. They are fed a semi-wet mash mix of organic potato flour, organic rolled oats, and organic rice. For the worm bedding, we use 50% rich organic humus potting soil and 50% organic Canadian peat moss. Each culture comes complete with easy to follow directions.

Micro Worms

Our micro worms are cultured in plastic tubs at room temperature (70 degrees) and are fed a wet mash, which consists of an organic oatmeal base. Micro worms are the easiest to culture. They will grow in a wide temperature range (50 degrees to 90 degrees) and eat almost anything. Each culture comes complete with easy to follow directions. (Note: The extra large 64 oz micro culture which can inoculate twenty 16 oz cultures will put you in to the aqua culture business in a few days.

Our 64 oz. extra large culture contains enough micro worms to inoculate 20, 16 oz. cultures.

 

Wingless Fruit Flies

Our fly bottles come in two sizes, 8 oz and 16 oz. Both sizes have screw-on lids, plus a sponge stopper in the top of the lid. The fruit fly medium is of a mixture of fresh, organic soft fruit (pears, peaches, and apricots), organic wheat bran, and wheat germ. We use wood perching sticks in both the 8 oz and 16 oz bottles. The sticks are compatible with both size fly bottles. Every culture comes complete with directions to make your own fly medium, maintain your culture, and how to inoculate new cultures.

Our vinegar eels are cultured in one-half gallon glass jars at room temperature (70 degrees) in a 50% water and 50% unflavored apple cider vinegar solution. Once a culture is started, there is little maintenance needed. Each culture comes complete with easy to follow directions.

Grindal Worms

 

Our grindal worms are cultured in plastic tubs at room temperature (70 degrees). We feed the grindal worms a dry mix of organic rolled oats, wheat bran, farina, and dry potato flakes. The bedding consists of 100% Canadian peat moss. Each culture comes complete with easy to follow directions.
